The Life Jacket Foundation Celebrates UW Group’s 25th Anniversary with the Handover of "The Life Jacket Inclusive Park" in Germasogia
As part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of UW Group, The Life Jacket Foundation proudly marked the occasion with the sponsorship and handover of a newly developed inclusive park, specifically designed for children with special abilities.
The official handover ceremony took place on June 26th at River Park in Germasogia, in the presence of Mr. Kyriakos Xydias, Mayor of Amathounta.
The new park reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and meaningful community support.
This thoughtfully designed space features play equipment that accommodate children of all abilities—providing a safe, engaging, and joyful environment where every child can participate equally.
“Celebrating 25 years of UW Group, we wanted to give back in a way that reflects our values,” said Mr. Thrasos Tsangarides, founder and CEO of UW Group. “This park is not just a gift to the community, it’s a symbol of belonging, joy, and opportunity for every child.”
While UW Group marked its anniversary with several celebratory initiatives, the inclusive park stands out as a lasting contribution to the community, driven by The Life Jacket Foundation’s mission to support vulnerable populations and foster equal opportunity.
The Life Jacket Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks to the Municipality of Germasogia, Mayor Mr. Kyriakos Xydias, and all partners who helped bring this vision to life.
